Someone stole your photos. Don't let Etsy's bot blame you for it.

Subject: Appeal — Listing Removed in Error (Photo Theft, Not Reselling)
Case/Reference Number: [XXXX]

Hello,

My listing, "[Listing Title]," was removed for appearing to match
products on AliExpress/Temu. This item is handmade by me, not
resold. My original photos were stolen by a third party and are
being used without permission to sell mass-produced knockoffs on
[AliExpress/Temu — include the specific listing URL if you have it].

I am the original creator, not the reseller. I've attached:
- [X] original work-in-progress photos with visible timestamps
- Screenshots of the infringing listing(s), with URLs
- [Any additional proof: raw/unedited files, receipts for
materials, prior sales history of this design on my shop]

I have been selling on Etsy for [X years] and this design has
been part of my shop since [date]. I'm happy to provide any
further documentation needed to confirm this.

Please have a specialist review the attached evidence rather
than the automated flag, and reinstate the listing.

Thank you,

[Shop name]

USE THIS TO REPORT THE THIEF DIRECTLY ON THE PLATFORM
HOSTING THE STOLEN PHOTOS — a separate step from your Etsy
appeal, and important evidence for it too.

Infringement type: Image / copyright use without permission

My original listing: [Your Etsy shop/listing URL, or product
name and the date you first listed it if your listing was
removed]

Infringing listing: [URL of the AliExpress/Temu listing using
your photos]

Statement: These product photos were taken by me and first
published on my own Etsy shop on [date]. I have not licensed
or authorized their use by this seller. The listed item appears
to be a mass-produced copy, not the handmade original shown
in the photos.

Evidence attached: [Original photo files with metadata/EXIF
data showing creation date, plus screenshots of both listings
side by side]

Requested action: Remove the infringing listing and photos.

Notes:
- Keep a dated copy of this report and any reference number
you receive — it strengthens your Etsy appeal.
- If the seller relists under a new listing, you may need to
repeat this process; keep a simple log of dates and links.
